~Weeping Willow ~

Garden Partner

Here is the beginning.

My new experimental plant this year is called Mouse Mellon, also called Mexican Sour Gherkin.
Are they just about the cutest things you have ever seen growing on a vine?!

You can eat them raw or pickle them or just sit them in a bowl to admire:)

This Is Why Southerners Should Grow Cucamelon Plants This Year ...

We will be building some hugel gardens this year in the gardens up by the house. The lower part of the bed will be filled with small twigs, green stuff like grass clippings, straw and finally, some dirt.

Here are some before pictures of the gardens this year.

This is the lower garden. I am experimenting with some raised bed bags.

This is the hillside to the right as you face the lower garden. There are many perennials planted soon to bloom.

Doesn't look great YET.
